Yella Terra Roller Rocker set up for Greys

Post by FJWALLY »

I saw on the FB page today for the grey motor enthusiasts that yells Terra have released a bolt in Roller Rocker kit for the grey motor.

Apparently no mods or grinding required to give 1.65 valve lift - pretty pricey at 1760$ including but might be a worthwhile mod for the go getters out there.

$1760
When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.

yeh they are not cheap but for someone doing a head rebuild that might not turn out to be much more than doing a normal lifters and springs job anyway and being a bolt in kit might actually save the engine builder some time and you $.

Lil bit more info here: http://www.thegreymotor.com/2016/01/gre ... ckers.html

I already know a few people who will get them.

If your rockers/shafts etc are worn it's more valuable, but like all grey parts every little bit helps and you don't "really" do up a grey to get 300hp, you do it because it's cool and you can.

I'll certainly be looking at them when Top Torque do my re-build - as you say GreyEJ if my stock set up is on the way out it will need to be replaced anyway so that will save a fair bit off the cost of the yella set up and if it lets the Grey rev a bit smoother then it's gotta be good - pair it with twin stroms / mild cam and electronic ignition(petronics style) and it should be a great improvement.
