FB ute will live again

Post by V8EK4us »

Hi y'all,
Well Georgie turns 4 today and she is keen to help Dad build a car! :D :D
So we have started bringing a sad rusted ute back to life..... Scotty did an impression of how I wanted to do a ute a few years back, I am going to do it as per Scotty's impression with one major change.... it will be an FB!

Here's my little Georgie ready to help!

Hey Georgie,
Glad to see you have all the safety gear at hand. You should end up with a fantastic ute when finished, all the boys at school will be chasing you when they see you rock up in it! Go Dora.......

Regards
Stephen

Hi DR, undecided, originally was going grey, then hot grey, then SC14 supercharged grey with blow through triples......... figured the crank wouldn't handle that and can't afford a billet crank ..... so then lent towards a hot or supercharged 202 (have a clapped out one in the shed)...... now thinking ... search for cheap wrecked VZ with an LS1............

But honestly mate, it could end up anything at the moment.

Gaz. Are you a structural welder by trade? I noted some fish plate type cuts where you a repairing the rear sub frame just forward of the rear leaf spring front mount.
Either way, fantastic work. Watching this post with lots of interest.
