Hi Everyone!

Thanks for all the positive attention regarding the FBOMB.
I remember the time i parked it like that in Fremantle - it was a terrible parking attempt!? - but when you own a car like this you can park it anywhere/anyway you like - i have been known to park on traffic islands and not get a fine - the parking inspectors are too scared to touch it without getting a tetanus shot first i think!

Even though the car looks like this - i am kind of a purist - all the mods are from the 60s - all the accessories ( i used to have a sunvisor but it blew going down the Kwinana freeway!) are true to its era. It also has an 8 track player! (late 60s) I have a 60s car tv and Car Record Player which i will add when i have the time. The hubcaps are kustom - i cant tell you what car they come from or i might have to shoot ya!

The engine is the original grey 138 - with twin strombergs and extractors - kustom exhaust - it is running an FB sedan diff for freeway cruisin'.

I have been running it like this around Perth for about 2 years - everyday driver - the cops love it! Seriously they've never looked twice at me - i assume they think a car driving with that much patina MUST be roadworthy! The FBOMB is now situated in the hills of Victoria - where i met Tim (FB/EK Forum) who i caught taking photos of it - he's my hardware guy!

I also have an FB sedan - all original, including rust - 70000 miles.
I will restore this back to original - though it looks really kool the way it is - apart from maybe a height adjustment!

Hey F Bomb dig that crazy wagon got the same mexican man that you have on your tailgate but I stuck mine on the front of my house. Its nice coming across like minded people. Just bought a EK wagon (in my FB EK as 'Bought a strange looking 1964 EK Holden' plan to just buff what paint is left and dress it got spats, blinds, whitewalls etc and presto on road. I am a bit funny about the rat rod word being thrown around. I think a rat rod is more like a 32 &*#@. This EK wag I would is more like a' rod with rats living in it 'being a north QLD farm car. I also collect mainly american spinner hubcaps ( the type of hubcaps that could kill you if they fell off your car and rolled towards you or cut the side of your car like in Grease) have picked what your caps are but wont expose to keep them guessing. That FB sedan looks good I am a fan of plastic seat covers since I have kids they cant ruin the seats you can get them redone they were a original accessory. Good to see your photos stay cool. FBOMB I know what the hubcaps are but won't tell!!!!
I see you fitted the bonnet bar I gave you. I have since found some good doors and a good bonnet bar in the shed since you were here last(I knew I had some). I'm amazed that nobody picked the bamboo in your roof rack, spose they arn't looking.
