I'm really not the person to ask but I'm not sure on the engine number????

B267067 seems a little high for an early EK, when there was about 174000 FBs made with the B prefix on their engines too???

I could be wrong and most likely am. .

Hi Guys.

Are you sure that the body number has a B prefix ?

I'm not certain that any FB had their bodies built in Brisbane.

Also, what is the trim number ?

Hi guys
The car is an EK not FB and I'm not sure the engine numbers are correct either. I'm yet to fly out to see the car so will have the absolute numbers then.
Did EKs have such high engine numbers out of Fortitude valley Brisbane ?
Do you think that the engine has been changed considering it's supposed to be the 16th body out of Brisbane? :huhhh:

Doesn't really matter what the numbers mean, It matters what condition the car is in and if it's what you will be happy with.

Any pic's?

I started searching for an early Melbourne built car due to the fact my late dad owned one from new.
The reason I suppose numbers are important to me are because my grandfather worked at GMH until his golden handshake after 50 Years service and always got dad cars as soon as they released, so thinking that he could have been part of that cars genesis is great.

As soon as I learn how to post pics of the car I'm looking at using an iPad , you'll see them

There are still a few things 'strange' about those numbers.

Is it possible to post the TRIM number off the body ID plate ?
