Dave Mac,
that object is the toll-road transponder.... good place to hide them.

Great nats,
thanks to the NSW club for hosting a great event.

Next year - Hervey Bay, Qld's turn.

Safe journey home everyone, five minutes isn't going to make one jot of difference to your overall traveling time..

thanks to all for great company,
see you next year..

frats,
Rosco

Just got home after another FB EK Nationals, Cowra & the FB/EK Club of NSW really really put on a pleasant weekend for us all.. Congratulations!
This morning after we had our obligatory Coffee & Mc Muffin and packing up & fueling up (with the Crupi's all taking up the petrol pumps!  ) we headed off to the Cowra War & Railway Museum (Pete's a GUNZLE :wtf: ) .. had a great time there finding all sorts of stuff (even a Namagera Red EJ wagon!) if you're ever in the area check it out ... but make sure you have a lot of hours to spend.

Had a ball catching up with everyone (even Brett  ) ....
...verdict.. L O V E D I T !

Scotty.

We are at my sisters house in Casula , I am still feeling seedy from last night  , thanks again to the NSW club for all your efforts organising a top weekend , we went through the museum on the Sunday and could have spent a week in there.

Was great to catch up with old friends and meet a few new ones, putting faces to names is always a highlight. 8)
When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.

Congrats to the NSW club for an awesome day yesterday. :D :D :D :D :D
It was a great atmosphere and the number and quality of the cars was great to see. It made me miss having my old EK the most since I sold it.
Great Job Guys.

A BIG THUMBS UP to the NSW club and all that put together such a fantastic event.
From our perspective as relative new comers to the scene we had such a great time. Loved the cars, the drives, the dinners, but most of all we have been blessed with meeting such a great bunch of welcoming people that made our time over the weekend a memorable one.
We both spent probably most of the day during our return journey talking about how we are going to get to Hervey Bay next year. The bug has bitten!
Cheers to all.

Thumbs Up Dudes!

Just got home and have to say, had a ball as usual. Even without a car there.

No idea why you'd be feeling seedy Blacky.

Good work Thommo!
I'm a bit concerned you've got a sore arse and a stiff neck though. Did you pick up a hitchhiker? :wtf:

We just got home unfortunately on a tilt truck, after doing a timing gear on our travels.
Even after our misfortunes I thought it was one of the best Nationals that I have been to.
It was great to catch up with a lot of old friends and also to meet heaps of new ones.
And as well to put faces to names to so many people from this forum and the ek/fb facebook pages.
Cheers Rob

Sorry to learn of your timing gear, Rob - but glad to learn you're safely home...

Here's just one pic from the sign on at the Railway station Saturday...

We arrived home safely around 3pm after a scenic drive home via the Bells Line. Apart from fuel & food stops - you can't go past a Bilpin apple pie! - the trip was plain sailing.

Congratulations to the Nationals Committee and the NSW club for putting on a first rate event. Well done everyone!

Best regards,

Matt

It sure was an awesome event! I had a ball checking out so many awesome cars and meeting a few people from the forums.
Was kinda surreal driving around town after the nats and seeing so many FB and Ek's on the road when they are usually such a rare sight!
Even grabbed a few pics of cars from the lookout after the show ... will post them up later.
Very inspirational and i can't wait to join the fun of the nats myself someday.

Devilrod, i looked for your car ...no wonder i couldn't find it lol :P

Congrats to all involved!!!
