Indonesia export model - Checking the numbers
Greetings all. Have just picked up this beastie in Bandung, Indonesia. Hoping the gurus on the forum can tell me something about the car from the body and engine numbers. Hoping its the original engine for the car!

No guru here but from what I found on this forum it's a Sydney FB special, it has an FB engine, the colour is Canyon Blue body with a Grecian white roof.
But if the engine bay and motor is blue that is not original.
A pic of the whole car would be good.

Welcome to the forum mate
When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.

perhaps I've not been paying enough attention, but Metric speedo??????
PS Nice looking FB there, just (IMHO) those mirrors.. To me they just don't suit.

Re: Indonesia export model - Checking the numbers
Not every FB I saw in Indo has them but they were standard as it has always been a metric market. I asked the car club guys in Jakarta about this and they said that when the FB was first released they were so popular that a lot of grey importing was done from Australia and of course those ones had mph speedos. Odometer is of course metric too.
The mirrors... ahh yes not quite my taste but they came with the car. If my research proves them to be original fitments for Indonesia they may have to stay!!
