Ek Seat Trim

Post by Brians EK »

Hi Guys,

New to the site and found it very informative.
I have taken ownership of an EK Sedan, purchased by my old man in 1964.
Its been off the road for about ten years.
I am trying to find some original seat trim to re-cover the front bench seat.
It is red and silver, is this stuff still out there somewhere and could you recommend somebody I could contact to do the work
Cheers

Welcome to the forum mate.
Your best bet is to try and find a good second hand one, hard to find though.
Someone might have one though

Retrimming a single part of cars this old will always look "not-quite-right".
If you are keen and in a capital city get down to a Daleys (www.daleys.com.au) outlet and have a look through their sample ring, there are plenty of reds and maroons there is bound to be something close. There is also a silver vinyl available.
