Wanted - FB Special Wagon,

Post by beakrod@hotmail.com »

Hi All,

I must say since getting bitten by the bug over the past couple of weeks i have become a bit of an addict on your Forum. Great stuff you have here.

What i am looking for is an original/restored condition FB Special Wagon.

I recently found one through a search at-
http://www.classicthrottleshop.com/car52.html
but unfortunately this beautiful example has been sold.

I have a budget of around 25k for the right car and wanted to know if anyone has or knows of one similar in quality that may suit.
I just love the original red/white interiors.

Cheers
Mick

It's been on there for a while now, and close to your budget. Like Mick said, 25 grand should get you something in very good condition.

Yes i saw this one but thought it may be a little on the high side looking at the pics.

Do you know any history of this car on carsales?

Nah sorry, I don't know any of the history.

One thing I've learnt when car shopping, especially for these sorts of cars, is to not sweat too much on the advertised price. If you like the car, make an offer.

The one on carsales was one of the Brisbane Boys.
It was sold to the present owner around 7 years ago. The plastic seatbelts have been about the only thing done to it in the 7 years by the look of the pics to me.
I have a wedgewood + white original wagon that I would sell so give me a call if you want.
