You ought to stick that Nasco dust on Epay Alan

I might just try that!

I sold one of those NASCO PoliMops for a small fortune a few years back.

A little sachet of NASCO dust would be the perfect accompaniment

Hi guys,
I have a HK and am desperately chasing fitting instructions for the nasco bonnet spear / hood ornament.
Its probably a long shot but no one on here would have a copy or any information about measurements would they?
Thanks!

Andy.

I tried fitting the sunvisor and brackets last night but came across an issue. One of the previous owners covered up the holes on the roof, when I carefully drilled the centres out (masking tape down first) it opened up to the size of a 5cent piece. Its only the rear holes on each side. Any suggestions on repairing the holes before attempting to refit the sunvisor?

Never used a nutsert, but suspect they may solve your problem. Gives these guys a call:

Yu might be able to use wellnuts Joe ?? They are what I used on my ute - here is a link to a site , they are available locally I just found this to give you an idea of what they are if you are not familiar with them already. Being rubber they seal the hole as well.

Looks like the nutsert may be the way to go. Similar to a rivet gun but bit different. Apparently anyone who works in sheet metal has one. Anyone have contacts in the Canberra area???

Hey Blacky, I used speed nuts and a combination of the old flathead screws and the zenith metal screws. I test drove it at 80 kph and no movement what so ever. Not my first choice in fixing the problem but for $10 it worked. ImageImage
