Er, whats happened now...?

Post by Mai Ki-Ki »

Got floor shifter on the standard 3 speed box behind my grey. SHifting has been all off so was about to have a look at the linkages etc, and the rod / shaft that goes into the box pulled right out and won't go back in...(selector shaft?)

Is it supposed to be able to pulled out a few inches ? can't seem to get it back in.

Please bear with me, I'm pretty hopeless mechanically.

Thought about it for years, but decided last year the EK is staying pretty stock. no red motor, no fancy gearboxes, no disc brake...etc etc.

Must be a restorer...!
