When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.

roger is still doing the boxes, a good friend of both roger and i re-rivets the outer shaft to the box housing which seems to always have play and be worn, out of 10 you are only able to save about 6-7 now as they are too flogged out and you just cant fix them and even the repairable ones require a few hours to repair before they go back from us to roger to reassemble.
the other issue you have these days is actually getting roger to do anything before 11am!

I’m still waiting patiently Blacky. Rang them a couple times and they generally said delivery was imminent etc. I will try again on Tuesday now you’ve reminded me.

Spoke to Roger a few weeks ago too as I’m waiting for my all synchro column conversion. He is slowing down and he gives priority to eBay orders. I’d say that is because they pay stupid eBay dollars and he wants to maintain his rating. It’s all happening……..

One day!

He said he is refining the conversions to be made available as a kit to lighten the load, but then there is all the other stuff, rebuilding the boxes, and general health.
