At the registration day of the 2002 fb ek nats at Nambucca Heads a local chap told me about an EK he had for sale.He said it was from the movie "The Crossing" starring Russell Crowe(who drove an FC Ute) his now wife Danielle Spencer and Robert Mammone who drove the EK.Here are a couple of pix!

geez its gone down hill :cry: in the movie it got hit by a train :shock: it must have had a stunt double. i was only thinking about tihs car the other day, wondering what happend to it. from memory the scollops (flame/murals) were a differnt colour in the movie? not 100% sure, ill have to dig it out and watch it again :D

Not sure it is the real one,but I don't know why anyone would make a copy not exactly a classic movie ek like the "Running on Empty " car

:) I know the guy who owns the car and its the car from the movie he also had a couple of fb ek utes that he restored and were used in another aussie movie cant think of the name of it though .The station wagon in the back ground bloody good car fully original 2 rust holes in the tail gate about 5 cent size and rest is beautiful dont see them like this very often should be parked at my house soon :D :D :D :D 8) jay

rumour has it this car has been purchased by a well known EK nut and is going to be rebuilt 8) 8)

So messaged the seller and purchased the car he said he had it up 4sale a few times over the years but I had never seen it advertised until now
Plan is to rebuild to how it was in the movie just wanted to see it saved ๐Ÿค”

i see alot of what looks like opel green where a car that was a mask and spray wouldn't have been painted, for instance where chrome on guttering would go
sometimes yor just better off shitting in yor hands and clapping
