Can all eyes be on the lookout for an old fibreglass caravan .

Once the coupe is finished we'd like to do a bit of australia wide cruising in her and an old caravan will sit nicely behind her.

Theres one from the 60s called a Kennedy or Wayfarer or Skyline

Id imagine there may be one or two on property around this big brown land .
Thanks in advance for any leads and the case will be on its way.

Sunliners are probably the most common fibreglass vans around.

You could put up a wanted post on this forum here

http://vintagecaravans.proboards.com/index.cgi?

I was a member there a few years ago when it used to be a fun forum to belong to and contribute but there became too many Hitlers, Party Poopers and general F... WITS getting involved and spoilt it so I quit.

Harko

Are they the short wheel base jobbies that bounce from side to side and then spin the tow car and themselves off the road???

Some of those old 'traffic management devices' where pretty dodgy back then!

Should be OK with Fibreglass Harko, just the splinterbox wooden ones that are crap and wobble all over the place holding everyone up

yeah and we'd swerve out everytime you went to overtake.

Apparently the fibreglass ones are light and fairly aerodynamic so they arent too bad , Just have to have the FB wheel bearings upgraded to EK spec and they tow like a dream.
