Great progress and looking fantastic Nick. Wrinkles should come out but gently with heat gun may help. If you are installing hit yourself you probably know all this anyway.

Yes, I'm trying to do as much as possible myself and I come here and do a lot of reading before I attempt something I have never done. This is my first full resto and learning lots as I go, even if sometimes I need to do things twice to get it right.

A little bit more progress on the ute. Front panels on and picked up seat from upholster fitting the cover. I didn't want to drop the inner panel bolts so come up with a bit of welding wire to secure them to the socket. ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Seat looks perfect Nick.

That works with the wire . I used masking tape.

The seat looks beautiful - love the colour, and cant wait to see it up against the paint.

I use a dollop of blue-tac in the end of the socket to retain the bolts.

Cheers,
Harv

I believe the colours are a close reproduction of the original Floral Green and Madison Grey.
I should have the new door card in the same colours in the next week or two and can't wait to see what they will look like in the car
