No worries thanks guys. Didn't know if it has to be oil resistant or not aswell?

Needs to be oil resistant as it will get condensed manifold fumes. Vacuum hose is fuel resistant. Windshield washer hose is probably not, and it is easy to mix the two up. Check the reels very carefully. The vacuum hose should have an abnormally thick wall for it's diameter.

Got new 215 60 14s and 7s on the back. Took a bit to find that tyre size.
Down medium size driveway kirbs where its articulating a bit the rear rubs hard.
Normal driving is fine but round abouts turning sharp it makes a skim noise.
My main goal is not to rub the white walls off from the outer gaurds. Inside skims or rubbing not a deal breaker but would like it resolved.
I might try some 6 - 8 mm wheel spacers? and longer studs?. Who makes them ? and get the inner tubs moved in to the chassis rail like the red rattler?.
Definently looks a lot better from the side and rear. ImageImageImage

The spacers are somewhat illegal in most states.

Pretty low Clint. Makes it that bit harder. If you have room 6mm will help a bit but really you're looking at minitubs. I'm running 205/75R14 with no rubbing but not as low and outer guards have been rolled and ever so slightly pumped (bottle jack).

If you glue the spacers to the rim you could argue they are part of the wheel assembly. Or to the drum even.......

My outer gaurds had been pumped and rolled before the car was painted so all good on that side. I considered raising the back maybe 1inch but don't think that would make much difference.

The XU1s came out with stacks of 1/8” spacers (1 spacer on each front wheel to mid August 1971, 2 on each front and 1 on each rear to February 1972 then 3 on each front and 1 on each rear). The HK 307 manual and GTS 327 got them too in some cases.

It’s getting easier, but probably still hard to convince the authorities that the FB is a torrie or Munro 🤣

Hey , its got a Torana diff so why not Torana wheel spacers ????

215's should shit it in under a sedan, if you need to tubbing to the rail can be done in an afternoon , the Crupis run 235 and just as low so its doable.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.

And hk monaro front disks and calipers double win Image maybe not monaro but certainly v8 Hktg. But the rear is only the issue. I recall you mentioning a shop in malaga that does that work blacky, i looked back through a lot of posts but couldnt find it.
I would give it a go my self but don't have paints and body sealants or oxy for heating the steel.

Does anyone know what size and thread or what you can bung a fb sedan fuel tank outlet line off with as a permanent fix.
The fuel out will be from the sniper pump at the top of the tank.
Thanks
