When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.

Inside and out painted, 7 coats of HOK blue pearl. Ran out of paint and apparently Australia has aswell. Waiting on paint from the US, 5 weeks on a boat. Still have to paint doors, guards, bonnet and a bunch of fiddly bits.

A coupla updates on the van. Almost back together, just need to paint and fit the bonnet, fit the front end, re do all the gaps, buff the whole thing again and I think thats about it. Then back home to pull the diff out to cut it down so I can fit the rear rims n tyres. Very happy so far....

Oh what a feeling, the van is home. Just waiting on a few bits from KD Chrome and a cruising we will go. A shame it isn't quite ready for the GM Owners day tomorrow. Have fun and please load a few pics.

Thisafternoon,

Decided to get the rear springs reset, pull the diff out and cut 30mm of each side to bring the wheels inside the rear quarters. Order a set of Leyland P76 discs and bearings from Hoppers Stoppers to bring the front wheels in 16mm each side and then bring the whole thing down a respectable 25mm.........or so.

My unattainable wish at the moment is a bloody shed though, have to do the work as clean as possible in the garage.

Pics of finished product coming soon.......
