When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.

This morning we made an early start as we wanted to get to Broken Hill in time for some sightseeing-750km away so off we went at sparrows, we still have way to go to get home !
Image
All alone today, no FB/EK to look at either in front or in the mirror
Image
Image
Made good time to Cobar
Image
Then straight to Silverton for a look at the Mad Max 2 museum

You’re having the time of your lives, good on you. Kudos to the van towing fb drivers. Either side of Cobar is good for longish stints of WOT specially if you’re heading away from the big C though I remember the beer being nice and cold there.

I wonder if Mario’s Palace Hotel is still going up at the Hill.

You’ve got a nice drive ahead through the southrn flinders. No shortage of points of interest, not to mention the odd antique store.... Shhhh....

That’s not a bad lap time Blacky. Was that in double pluggers?

Thanks again for the pic’s. Looks like you’re squeezing a lot in to make a great trip.

Drive safe mate.

Cheers, John

Streaky is great but all the sights involve dirt roads
