That jig would make it real easy to do a LJ torana banjo conversion as well Clay as it is set up with correct pinion angle and saddle width.. if ya still going down that path sing out and I will drop it around

Very smart move putting the bumpstops on the BW diff instead of on the subframe rail... the gentleman who narrowed mine did not, nor did he install the "platform" used on the original banjos to give the subframe-mounted bumpstops something to hit. Caused me a moderate amount of grief when the engineer pointed out that the factory bumpstops would not hit my fancy BW diff :( .

The gentleman also used 1.6mm RHS for the new saddles. Engineer was worried about flex, and I now have to gusset/box them.

I also used u bolts instead of the usual bolts that the hr housings use as they are the same as the HTKG ones( that you can buy new now)that we’re prone to tearing off when ya put heaps of horsepower into them

LJ diff I have was previously in an FE Ute so has the bump platforms and narrower saddles. Thanks for the offer, I’ll see how it goes Glen.

I picked my block and crank up from the machinist a couple of weeks back , hope to start on mine shortly as well

It is a blue 173 block with Chrysler voyager 3.3 forged CP Carrillo pistons on R&R racing nascar spec H beam rods,shotpeened blue 202 crank arp main stud kit with stud girdle running 10.8 compression with a camtech ct35-637A-108A cam ,the head has way to many mods to even try to list including totally welded up and modified combustion chambers BMW X4 spark plugs and more.It is flowing enough to make 300+hp on paper, comp cams pro magnum roller rockers external oil pick up on custom built high volume sump custom hand built tuned extractors into 3” exhaust triple 45 Webber’s and more it has a full manual traumatic with a 3500 stall behind it and 3.7Kaaz lsd borg Warner. So that should wake up the old girl
