Hey Mick, motor is right in position now, I need to modify the sump a bit, pretty simple really, otherwise your 6 ltr clunky door donk has slipped in very neatly, that shorter water pump also means your radiator & thermo fan clearance is superb,as you wanted the top half of your firewall remains untouched, just a shame dick dastedly & his mates cut the bottom of the firewall because I reckon we could have got away with just a tunnel. engine & gearbox hights are legal, actually mate, it looks just like the general meant for it to be there, because of the lower crossmember top the engine angel has come up a treat with 20mm of clearance underneath, looks good for your exhaust clearance without having to punch holes through the inner guards, but we best be connecting the steering before we get too excited.I have just spent my lunch on autocad & emailed some pretty trick bracketry drawings off to the laser cutter for your tailshaft loops that run through the chassis, I have also made them so your 2.5" exhaust runs through them, should have them back tuesday next week, then I can fully tig off the chassis & put her on wheels. will keep you informed over the next few days as to the progress if I am still alive with this rather severe case of man flu (so the missus & kids call it)

cheers

The pic from the back is final ride hight, The billet wheels look good, but the other set with the 31x15.5x15s look awsome, they fill the tub up a bit better, will get some pics of them on it once i pull her apart & weld it off completely.

One last shot for now Mick, these cars really do lend thermselves to this sort of treatment & Im enjoying this job so much that I have just brought myself an fb sedan to do similar with (thats if the eft goes through without me stuffing it up), probably might go a little more sedate on mine (not likely), anyhows the rear quarters & wheel arches look sensational with a bit of rubber & a nice usable ride hight. enjoy Mate
