Re: Engine keeps stopping once warmed up
This sounds like you have something floating around in the tank blocking the pick up. Maybe a rag. I think from memory Wayne had a similar prob with Milkshake and it turned out to be a very dead lizard sucked into the pick up. A semi floating object maybe the issue. Once sucked onto the pick up when close you loose supply. Engine stops then it falls off and drifts away. Silastic used on the sender gasket will cause blockages as excess will separate and form balls when it contacts fuel. (Richard had a similar problem going to the Wangaratta Nats).

Is the vacuum advance line from the dizzy tight and air proof, no holes?

Finally found the reason why I kept stopping/stalling. I found 4 pieces of crap blocking the needle and seat as the carby fuel bowl went dry again.

When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.
