Thanks for all the support guys. Photo's aren't the best - taken with my old mobile - but in the flesh the paint (clear over base) is that deep you could swim in it and the metallic silver roof burns your eyeballs in the sun! It's just bloody beautiful - I'm soooooo happy with the work Greg has done.

Jay, the wheels are Commodore 15's with full stainless covers & whitewalls. Mark, Paul's no longer in business so I'm using Marino's. A bit pricey, but they do quality work. You're quite right - it's getting very exciting now. :D

When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.

Thanks for your kind words gents. Yes, I'm very happy with how the car is coming along. Trouble is, now I've got to bolt everything back on to it without scratching it. Gulp!

I know your pain with assembly after paint. Nice job so far. You have to love that deep black colour! Beautiful stuff.

Looks great out in the sun. A tip for reassmbly is to go to a paint and panel supplies shop and get some good masking tape. It helps avoid some chips and scratches.
