This is where this ute sat from 1987 to 2004 , when I finally wrestled it from the original owners daughter.

Been a long time coming , but we have an update on the ute resto.
She is in primer and ready to rub - all rust ,etc, is gone .
The motor is on its way from Melbourne (thanks Nascohunter)
All I need now is some time .......

Nearly two years later, I have done HEAPS !!!!!
Bought it home from Kalgoorlie last weekend -

Looks like you've added some electrical tape around a pillar.




Just add it to your retirement project pile. Keep her rust free in the meantime.

In Blacky's photo (on the trailer) is the area behind the seat painted or upholstered - thought was painted in body colour but in this picture looks as though was vinyl covered because of the glue that can be seen.
The only reason for time is so everything dosen't happen at once.
If Macca's home delivered there'd be one less drunk on the road.

originally they had vinal that was held in place by a bar and then went down behind the seat.
got to love the old trusty grey motor and drum brakes
