Picked this old banger up the other week from a friend of mine who is in the process of downsizing post retirement and struggling with the whole process a bit.
I was not in the market for another “project” at all so unsure what the plans will be at this stage while my focus is on finishing the LS conversion in my other wagon and getting the Grey Powered HAMBster back on the track with the new engine combo.
He has some cool history and bits and pieces still so I obliged to help my old mate out. At least he is now back undercover instead of sitting out in backyard like he has done for the last 15 or so years.

When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.

Yeah the last 15 years have been a bit tough on old Eddie. Unfortunately the Norman blown grey is no longer fitted so when the fuel pump on the currently fitted 186 shat itself it all started going down hill.
He came with some good doors and from the poke around I’ve had It all repairable. Just not a high priority for me at the moment while I get over the the trauma from the other wagon

Took the long weekend as an opportunity to head back out to see Lindsay and pickup another load of bits as he slowly goes through his bits and pieces and finds more parts for Eddie.
Half a SC14 Castlemaine Rod Shop supercharger kit for the currently fitted red motor. Rest of it is still buried away in a container somewhere and I’ll grab it when he manages to dig it out.
A set of Mag Wheel Centre 13’s and 2 sets of centre caps to suit
