out of curiosity, what size did the battery cable end up being ???
When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.

Made up a mount Sunday arvo after club rego dayImage
Now to fix it to the floor.

Meanwhile, clearenced manifold, and mocked up with spacers.ImageMuch better. I fitted 2.25" studs to out the carbys, but had to cut them all down by 15mm, sheesh, all 12 of them!

All the bits are now in hand...... Image
No club runs until September so no more excuses.

Just a thought on the bus. Might be an idea to pull it off and put some heatshrink over most of it. Saves accidently shorting it with a stray spanner (or someones steel capped boots). If its painful to get back out, a couple of layers of PVC tape would do the trick.

Yes Harv. I wrapped it in Nitto tape, then heat shrink OTT. So double insulated. I will also sheath the cable running under the floor mat in heater hose, to be sure, to be sure.....

I've inadvertently shorted so much stuff out that I am damn near giving Jo Lucas a run for his money
