Ute rear glass - FE/FC versus FB/EK.

Post by Harv »

Some time back there was a discussion about the differences between FE/FC and FB/EK ute rear screens. I remember taking measurements off Grace's ute to help out.

Having a bad dose of CRAFT, I can no longer find the thread. I Googled and Googled until my Googler was sore. No luck.

Not sure if the thread was here or on the FE/FC forum.

Anyone remember please? Would like to help a mate out who has the same dilemma.

Cheers,
Harv

dunno about the thread , but FE/C glass is taller
When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.

Pretty sure I have both here will have a look and measure, from memory the corners were slightly different too but I’ll confirm.

Hi guys I got the glass out that I had squirrelled away the FE/FC corners are much bigger than the FB/EK, the centre glass that I pulled out appeared to be the same size but it could have been an FB/EK one.
I tried to upload a photo but my connection at home is shit.
With the size difference in the corners you would think that the centre would also be different.
I’ll do a bit more looking for the FC centre glass as I know I did have it, I had an FC Ute before I bought Frank but it was far worse so passed it on.
