SA club run to Maggie Beer's Farm Shop

Post by Errol62 »

Good turn out considering the crap weather, of seven cars in all. Bit muddy for Dudley's so whent to the Eric Parker auction of several humpys and monaros. Ladies revisited a shop tey fiscovered st the nats. On to Maggie's and then at least 15 to lunch at the Angas Park Hotel.ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

Nuriootpa. The streetscape looked vaguely familiar, but I recognised the Chev dealership shopfront.

A good turn out indeed. 👍. How much did the cars go for at auction?

That auction would have been interesting - we have stopped and looked at that place every time we have been through there , there was people in there once but they ignored us when we tried to talk to them

This is more accurate info from mate Bruiser on the gmht site:

$94,000 of parts
$31,100 total for the 3 effies
The 10 monaros $782,000 all up
The 81837 HT350 Bathurst tank car went for $142,000
The red 308 GTS HQ $111,000
Cheapest monaro $48,000 a 186 model, just a pretty straight pretty rust free
project for someone to get started on

So glad I got the Monaro thing out of my system years ago .......

I would have grabbed the FX out of all the stuff in the pics
