Hindmarsh Island cruise

Post by Errol62 »

Nice day for the annual Victor Harbor C&C old car cruise to the Coorong Cafe. Everything from nice rods to v4 powered Saab. Michael Beaumont's 383 SBC 34 pick-up is newly on the road after selling his original EK van. Massive Packard with dickie seat.ImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImageImage

34 Chev was immaculate. Not sure on the dummy double pumper carbs but a nice subtle port injection job.ImageImageImage

Old fella had changed out the cam for something a little less cranky but none the less having trouble on the street. Trying to traverse a speed hump the pinking was quite loud off idle.

When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.

Looks to me like a group NC racer back on the street.

Was just bought back from a paddock find Greg. No tags, so could have been a GTR or XU-1 for them to be worth being lifted I suppose. Hasn’t been on the track at all yet apparently but built to look the part I guess, and that it does. He had SUs on it but said they were too finicky and went to Webers.
