Around a 2010 mate

I scored another BT-50 seat for the rattler so it’s time to make another set of brackets- the one in the ute sits a little high so I wanted to set it as low as I can get it . Originally I was going to do what I did in the ute and chop a set of original seat mounts up I figured I could do it without chopping up the original brackets.
Ute setup -

Started by removing the factory brackets from the stock seat and comparing the two

It needs to sit further back than the ute as well so I started by making a plate the same size as the original and spacing it up with a bit of 25x25 SHS

Then bolted it to the seat and made sure it lines up with the marks on the floor where the original ones sat and tacked it together
Image
Tossed it in the car, bolted the back in and set the height at the front
Image

Was going to make a similar arrangement as the factory setup that slid into the saddles bolted to the floor but that was too fiddly so I just cut some plates that picked up the bolt holes and made SHS spacers again - dunno if the engineer will be happy with that but will find out one day if and when I get this thing engineered Image
Image

Zapped it all together and it works like a bought one Image
Image

Painted them up and they are hanging in the shed waiting for me to stop buggerising around on the internet and go and install them
