I don’t think so. Spoke to them again this morning and still stringing me along. Said it may be a week away. No stock in the warehouse. That’d be slacks creek.

Spoke to Roger. He has it from on high that they aren’t manufacturing any more and when the old stock is gone that will be it. My column doesn’t seem to have progressed along the queue since I spoke to him a month ago.

The Rares counter staff are franchisees, and may not always have a good update on head office's intentions (or progress) in manufacturing parts.

To get a square answer, I'd suggest giving Lance Corby a call (call head office and ask to speak to him). Lance is a good bloke (now a Director), and has helped me out on previous parts dramas. I once had his email address, but lost it during a new-laptop activity.

Cheers,

Walked into Rares over here this morning , bought one off the shelf and another that is on back order - estimate a week or so to get it. No idea why it wasn't transferred to Adelaide if Clay has been waiting all this time , maybe stock control isn't their forte ........

Was told the new stock had just landed on the wharf.

We ordered them in the same week I think.
Pity I am going to cut my shaft down to fit collapsible column.

The sector shaft looks like one for EJ-HR. The broached slot which holds the adjuster stud captive is missing.
