D.R did you drill the 5th and 6th booster mounting holes in the bracket, just noticed you have 6 mounting holes mine has 4 but the holes are uneven lengths 93mm and 85mm where as most after market boosters are 85mm bolt center to bolt center.

Nope, I haven’t drilled any holes. If I get a chance I’ll measure the bolt hole spacing over the weekend. I dare say someone’s added the extras for a booster….

Well being we are locked down again, I’ve been unable to get materials needed so … time to do some cleaning up of other bits and pieces.

So got the other hinge cleaned up and on for now.

Now onto the reg housing. Before…

After.

Also cleaned up the spare wheel clamp.

And as the dip switch is just hanging around I did that too…

Sadly my wire wheel now needs replacing… just more things to have to order online and wait for. So a few more things knocked off the list while adding to the materials list. Also in between all this I managed to clean up the mess from building the shed so I’ve kept the missus happy too.

Before..

And after…

So that’s a bit of a catch up as to what’s been going on in between lockdowns, curfews and work.

Nice work dr. Do you clear coat after wire brush or not? All looks great, specially the reg cover.

Thanks! No clear coat just polished with autosol by hand. Although the hinges are literally just cleaned in the parts washer with steel wool. Think I have nearly 6 hours just in those….

nice one - progress on Leo AND keeping SWMBO onside - win win
