Trim clips and end bits

Post by steveo »

Hi ,
Isolating in the garage for the next couple of weeks so may finally make some progress..
Looking for advice on stainless trim attachment . I have clips from rare s , but they don't seem to be a good fit. Quite possible it is operator error .
Do you just give it a whack ?
And what is the end clip... larger hole //?

Advice appreciated

Thanks ,

Steveo

I got these after guessing from what was left on the car - don't know what was holding the trim on.

Look a bit large as its closer to the camera. Not sure if they will work, and a long way off finding out

The ones on your car look about right to me Stevo, but I’m no expert on Specials. I was going to get the ones Scott posted to fit the commercial/standard guard spears as I reckon they matched the originals on mine. Ended up re using original ones in the end.

That looks about right
