We checked in to the motel at the golf club and got into our cabaret gear for the Friday night “family reunion “ - pretty much my favourite night of the year ImageImageImage I was way too busy socialising to take any photos .....

Gotta love a carpark full of FB/EK Holdens Image and one upset Volvo driver who thought I had to move my ute so they could park in front of their room - had to explain that I was actually parking in front of our room which was above and there was no designated parking spots for each room Image

F@$& Covid -19

Saturday morning, cold but crystal clear skies and we are all at the sign on area to get our goodie bags and head off for the cruise , plenty of coffee helped here Image I actually behaved myself every night and didn’t have a hangover all weekend- maybe I am starting to mature at 55 Image
Image

Goodie bag bits , then it was time for the official welcome and we are off for the cruise, I didn’t take many pics as my Mrs does all that , for those of you on Facebook I am sure you would have seen plenty - the Gall brothers did the honours at the start

There were 2 cruises , one down the bottom of the range at Scott’s garage , and one to a Heritage Park at the top of the hill so we did both , went down the hill first for a photo op and a look around

Then we and a few others headed off to the other run for a cup of tea and damper - one slice of damper was enough for lunch , it was bloody good and it filled ya up , this place was pretty cool , there was HEAPS of stuff to look at we were there for about 3 hours and didn’t see it all.

Then it’s off for the Saturday night dinner , more catching up and good times - we bought some raffle tickets and accidentally won an auction for a one of one 2020 Nationals polo shirt Image

Then we were off back to camp to get ready for the trophy presentation and the announcement of next years nationals. We got a lift home with the Gall brothers in this FB ImageImage

And just like that it was all over - can’t believe how quickly the Nationals fly by Image

Well , it was all over except for the after party ImageImage
We had 7 starters this year on the Monday morning- Doug (hamlet on the forum) and Greg from the QLD club put this one together - we fuelled up and headed off via back roads to our first stop in Rosewood for a cuppa and morning tea

We all survived the night and mustered again in the morning and headed out of the big smoke to Fernvale for a breakfast pie , it was raining pretty hard for the hour or so drive but had cleared up by the time we got there - was the worst rain of the trip so we were very lucky weather wise Image we then headed off over Wivenhoe Dam to Somerset Dam and Kilcoy for lunch at the pub - some nice country through here
