Replacement braided steel fuel line

Post by Blackdog »

Hi,
After 20 years i have replaced (somethings several times!) all rubber hoses/lines on the Ute.
Except the braided fuel line. It’s still going strong but I’m sure there comes a time (25 years of service? Maybe 30.) where it will be more of a soaker hose and less of a fuel line.

Has anyone replaced one recently and could recommend a supplier? Or custom made?
The nylon braided ones on EBay don’t really fill me with any confidence on longevity or quality.

I am aware you can replace with rubber hose and earth strap separately the block to chassis, but keen to keep standard.

Thanks all

Blackdog

That is about the only source for the braided line unless you got one made custom. Holdman Restomotive. Handy resource and fair prices.
