Mick, Here's a pic of my set-up. The twins run really well, I have them tuned every couple of years(usually before the drags) I find that at take off you need to have high revs as with my twin exhaust set up , I lose alot of back pressure, But once the power band comes through it throws you forward like a slingshot. Top end runs out very smoothly and just wants to keep running over the diff gears.

These strommies came off a gasser and I would have loved to run them but circumstances prevail.

This set was my first, but I couldn't bring myself to cutting the firewall to fit them.

Interesting to hear about the need to cut the fire wall...
Is it totally necessary?

I have the opportunity to buy a set of triple SUs for the grey but I won’t bother if the body needs cutting...

Depending on manifold I believe. Battery usually needs to be relocated.
