Dipper Switch - rubber boot

Post by FJWALLY »

Hi All,
Doesn't look like any of the remanufacture guys make a rubber boot for the back of the dipper switch(wire connector side) - I've found a small gear lever boot that is not a bad fit but what do you guys use in the absence of a proper boot.
You will find me lost somewhere!

Don’t think there ever was one Rob. I just let mine free range. For the Hydramatic and all EJ on through to HQ the later style was used which didn’t protrude through but was instead screwed to the inside of the floor and wired internally. HJ or HX on then went to column stalk. Bit of useless trivia for you mate.

You could always shrink wrap the terminals. You are in Melbourne after all. 8’)
