FE -EK Floor pan Question.

Post by oz_ek »

Would I be correct in assuming fe,fc,fb,ek all use the same floor pan,?...Complete from the firewall to the boot?

Yes AFAIK , sedans and vans/utes/wagons are different however.
When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.

Thanks, I just looked in the master parts catalogue and it lists front pan #12.972, it would appear this pan fits all fe-ek?... Unfortunately there's no listing for the centre section (rear) floor....And yes, looking at the very rear of the pan across the ute, wagon, sedan, etc, different location of the fuel tank and the spare wheel well in the sedans and so on.

There are some cosmetic differences in the front upper near join to firewall between FB and EK. I stress that they are cosmetic. The EK autos are different again of course. Can post comparison photos of you are interested or have a look at my EK van build thread.

Cheers Clay,
It's the centre/rear section from Fe to Ek that I'm interested in.

FE-FB sedans are identical. EK manual minor difference at ps trans hump join to firewall but interchangeable. Ditto for other body types I believe.
