Torana for my son

Post by FJWALLY »

Sorry if this is too left field but looking for a classic for my son - Torana is perfect as it's small enough but has that classic car appeal.

Looking for something in good daily driver condition or near to - no rust buckets pls as not time or $ for rest's

Will look at the lesser popular ones also such as the HB two door etc

orrig or modified but no extreme mods thanks - too much of an engineering headache in Vic.

will pay good $ for the right car.

Good luck with your search, Torana's are notorious rusters. Look in the pillars, floors, around the windscreen etc..
Speed and Style........... One day I'll get the speed bit.

yeah - I have seen plenty of those.

Might have to go for a decent small import to get him started

I wouldn't buy my son an A9X
that's been for sale for a while
I could have got an L34 in 97 for 8g but it needed a bit of work ...
early toranas are just a Vauxhall that cost a shit load more
I still love em
but they are out of my price range
good luck in your search

yeah I have shelved that idea for now - might just go down the safe korean or Japanese car route with air bags while he's learning anyway.
He can get some real practice in the EK for a 3 on the tree.
