 I have ended up finding a Lj torana column shift auto steering column
i did want a lc originally but this will do
I Will use it insted of the ht steering column that I have in it at the moment
Mainly because the inner shaft takes the Torana steering uni where the ht one needs a after market $
Uni I will put it in and see only down side is the ignition is on the column but I could blank it off and keep the
Ignition on the dash

Grind it off fill it with fiberglass and finish you won't even know it was there ,that is what I did preperation is the key though don't rush it let it shrink back before finishing.

Just thinking out loud......But I think you could do some mix & match with the HT/HG column and the Torana column and come up with what you need... The upper sections appear to be the same size?....And the lower blanking section for the floor shift cars can be purchased from Rare Spares.

For some reason I'm thinking that LC & LJ had different size uni's?
