Gooood Mooorning America ! OK Mr Black , have measured up Maggots EJ and I cant imagine anything different to FB / EK . Took measurement on the deck so as it is in a loaded state and measured between outer face of backing plates directly below king pin which is 1262mm and then backing plate to drum face with calipers is 76mm ( 3inch ) x2 =152mm being a total of 1414mm .The outer edge of drum is proud of the mounting face by about 1mm so pulling that away from both sides will be a grand total of 1412mm or 55.59 inches .Give me a shout when your back bloke as I need that workshop manual , have to rebuild the Quadrajet on the Statesman . Hate the bloody things , bits and pieces flying everywhere and then figuring where it all came from .

Sorry Blacky, didn't realise its urgent. I wont be home from work till Sunday Arvo but can do it as the car is on the hoist whilst I'm doing the brake work.Blacky wrote:Wheel mounting face on the drum please Craig , looking to buy a straight axle setup while I am in the US and need to know what width I need.

Measured HR disc unladen 1405mm or 55 5/16". Measured EK drum unladen 1397mm which is 55" exactly. Measured EK rear 1420mm or 55 29/32".
Most cars of the era have slightly wider front track so looks like 55 1/2 - 56" would be the go.
