Wagon seat v sedan

Post by indiana1968 »

Just wanted to find out if the rear seat from an FB wagon is compatible with the rear seat of the sedan in any way. Can the back be 'modified' in any way and does the seat swap over okay???
Thanks in advance!

G'day Indiana,

Nope, the wagon and sedan rear seats are waaaaay different. The wagon is set up so that the seat has a "back", which is missing on the sedan (the sedan hides this bit with a separate backing board between the seat and the boot, and has exposed springs/hangers). The wagon is also set up to tilt and fold, making for a long cargo space. The sedan meanwhile is fixed.

Cheers,

Aaaawwww. Thanks for that. I was hoping at least I could swap the base for the sedan and maybe remove the backing from the upright. But if its a square peg in a round hole fair'nuff. Many thanks for your advice> :smile2:
