Auto Floor / Rubber v Carpet

Post by NoMAD »

Has anyone tried a repo rubber floor mat to suit auto over a CRS tunnel?

i know the carpet fits if you order for an auto but rubber?

im tempted to run and orginal style rubber on the floor over carpet but would like to no it fit's before i consider shelling out for it.

Cheers

Only issue using the rubber I can see is the bracing. If you haven't put the bracing on the inside you will need to somehow reshape that section. I did with the carpet.

The other issue I have is the cost.
Carpet is cheep, rubber is a complete rip off! Only the ones I've seen anyway.

Oh I hear you... 600+ shipping is about the best I've seen and no guarantee of it fitting with everything I've changed... Fun decisions eh :/

At least with the carpet you can reshape it with a heat gun.
