Wagon venetian fitting

Post by Beerhands »

Hey guys, just wonder any tips on venetian fitting for the sides of my wagon. Just unsure how everyone separates the glass and rubber so that you can slide in the boots.

When I did the sedan, I dummy fitted the venetian, and marked the rubber with a pencil where the legs sat. I then eased a (blunt) screwdriver in where the legs would go. This opened out the rubber enough to get the venetian legs to slide in without too much forcing.
