Now that's a tidy engine bay. Welcome to the Forum FJ Maniac.

Anyone recognise the carb airfilters? Aussiespeed?
Asked the owner today parisian62 he custom made them himself used
a piece of 6 inch alloy pipe then a thick piece of alloy on top, welded em and
macined both the fins and the slots at the front then polished them, they are mounted onto
two, two barrel hitachi carbs, the carbys are mounted to a Thomas Intake manifold.
It has some awesome looking stainless headers too which adds to the general look of the engine bay...

I'm guessing????? a 371 GM blower with the fins milled off :? :? Plenty of custom billet work as well, similar coil position as mine we must have read the same old 60's hotrod magazines where they claimed its better to isolate the coil away from heat (I just did it to show off my coil holder  )

I'd be interested in the details of this as well.

I spotted the Bear Rock Rodders badge on the firewall of the engine bay of the "mystery" grey and googled the name hoping to find out more about this FJ.

But like so much in this world now there was a facebook listing I couldn't open on my P.C. because I'm a dinasour not on facebook......BUGGER

Hope more details get posted here

Choppedfan is on the money, supercharged grey, home made intake  directing air over the motor to the blower,
home made sideplate & breather tube, home made breather attached to a vintage rocker cover,
I'm not sure whats up with the distributor, its hidden by that intake, but the dissy cap is very high.
This guy has put a lot of hours into this.
I have no idea why he decided to have the intake scoop on the other side from the blower,
would have thought there would be plenty of clearance under a FJ bonnet to have it on top.

Cheers

That appears to be a suspious copper coil hanging off the oil pressure sender on the blown FJ. Remote pressure gauge or full-flow oiling?

Cheers,
Harv.
