Hey guys, just putting an after market collapsible column in the FB.
Can someone with an original column plz measure from the top of the honey pot to the dash mount so I know how my column needs to be set? Cheers big ears

265MM from the centre of the dash bracket to the underside rim of the standard steering wheel

Yep - double checked mine: 262mm from uppermost surface of U-shaped dash bracket to the visible joint between the indicator mechanism and the steering wheel (distance includes both honey pot and indicator mechanism).

Cheers fellas thats great. I mocked it up last night and the longest it can go is 290mm so I can just pust it about 25mm through the firewall. 8)

Flaming River milled finish.
Looks pretty good, and got it plus fire wall mount for 190 bucks cheaper than RRP and no postage :thumbsup: .
Ididit are probably better quality and design but the Flaming River look less cluttered around the Honey Pot and like I said, got a good deal :wink:

Cant comment on Flaming river columns as I have never used one but I have used the ididit columns and yes they are a beautiful thing!
Bottom line is you just cant beat a bargain can ya! :thumbsup:
