Went on its maiden voyage today - a trip to Broadarrow pub and back.
Stopped at the old 2up ring on the way home for some pics -

When you're faced with an unpleasant task that you really don't want to do, sometimes you just have to dig deep down inside and somehow find the patience to wait for someone else to do it for you.

Well done Blacky !!!

An absolute credit to you mate - one first class resto !

I see you dropped the idea of the HR front end in favour of king pins and drums though - any reason for that?

The before and after pics were especially good - only problem was after admiring the ute for ages and going right back through from page one I found myself playing spot the difference with the two pics from day one and now. I'm not talking about with the ute, but of the background eg tree twice it's size, old mate down the street has ditched the double swung doors and fitted a roller door etc etc - shit I need to get out more, LOL!

Once again, a VERY WELL DONE

would be good if the angle of camera was the same, the fence across the road isn't covered in shrubs

how come you didn't put the racks back on it blacky :? would have made iy so much easier carting yor stuff to the nats

Yep Mick. Old mate has also done away with the vivid blue paint-job and even repainted the roof, lol !!!

Reckon those old roof racks saw their share of carrying back when the ute was a worker...........

Always enjoy these type of threads - goes to show what one man (and maybe afew mates) can do without having to farm everything out ! You'll always be able to say that YOU did it !

yep, given the money anybody can pay somebody to do stuff but doing them at home with the help of some mates they're the ones i like the best 8) and the higher quality ones like this and that we've seen done on here are all that much kooler :)
