Meet at the Rotary Park at Mudgeeraba at 10.00 am for morning tea. These coming from Brisbane proceed down the Freeway and take Exit 79 and proceed into Mudgeeraba. After taking Exit 79 turn right over the Freeway go around the village green and proceed to Rotary Park. Rotary Park is west to the swimming pool and adjacent to the Wallaby Hotel. Shops available for purchase at Mudgeeraba, tea and coffee available at the swimming pool kiosk. There is also a playground for the children as Rotary Park. Toilets located at the swimming pool.
After morning tea and chat we will proceed to Purling Brook Falls appox 30km. There is a shop there for purchase of fish and chips, drinks, pies etc. At the park there are push button BBQ ( electric )Don't forget to take a bat, ball etc there is a play area for the children. For those who can take a table and chair as there is a limited amount as this is a very popular spot. You also have to take your rubbish home with you as there is no bins There is a 100m, 300m, 4km and 6km walks. It can also get a little cool up there so don’t for get to take a jumper. There is also a craft shop near by. Appox 105km
