I had another play with the kids scoot today but Im having a hard time deciding on a front end shape/design .
Image
Originally drew this and was aiming for the same style but with the larger wheel of the peewee it means the headlight will have to rise up over it , The front fork travel is 40mm so that determines the gap between the guard shroud and headlight extension.

Image

I was thinking something along these lines ,although if it were possible to get a smaller rim and weld it onto the peewee centre I could go full shroud and get the front down allowing the body closer to level as originally designed.

The original design looks the goods, but difficult to pull off with the larger pee wee front wheel.
Encaseing the front wheel with a teardrop design bubble that
turns with the front wheel seems the only option with that size wheel.

pull out the front shock and solid mount the front wheel to the height you want, and mount a springer seat so you have some butt protection

I dont have any room for a springer seat but I could use a a high density foam base like say a jazzersize mat for the seat.
I should maybe check if thumpster forks are shorter and then run a small wheel with no front brakes.

Most thumpstar forks are a fair bit longer than the PW ones.
go with the high density foam for the seat-i don't think a sprung seat would suit it very well

A smaller front wheel will do the trick

Shorten the top of the shockies and keep them ,they will be under the solid body this way .

Am also considering turning down the rear and welding it to smaller rims aswell so I can keep brakes all around ,it will give the effect of changing a sprocket aswell so she will boogie off the line and run out of legs earlier - which means no kids hurt at higher speeds.

I was talking to my son realy trying to get him interested and have some ownership when he came up with a black with old school flames paint job for it , thumbs up but where do I run flames...
