Fb front door card trim

Post by D-MAN »

Got a quote today to get 4 new door cards and front seat retrimmed, and after I picked myself up off the floor the guy suggested getting door trim that is in good condition and painting it with vinyl paint!!!!

I do want to try ang keep the trim as original looking as possible so may give it a try....

So Need 2 front door trims please!

Vinyl Paint is pretty good IF you can get good door trims.
I charge $25 each pp for bare door trim cards, generally a set of 4 door trims will cost $400 depending on materials and style.
I do front bench seats from $900 for a basic vinyl retrim assuming the frame and springs are in good condition, average is around $1100.

Those prices are pretty damn good...half what most people are charging in Sydney for door trims or seat recovering.

They're just the Adelaide prices, double them for Sydney and triple for Melbourne :laughinggg: :laughinggg:

Looking for a reasonable FB commercial or standard drivers door card, preferably in gnome blue, to match my good passenger side one. 2104, 2106, 215 & 219, ute, van, standard sedan and wagon came with these,no armrest. I have a set of average ones from the EK van. Pattern is different.

If anyone has a good matching pair in any colour I would be interested, as I can paint them.Image

I should have been looking then. I’m kicking myself but thought the ones I have were pretty good. The material isn’t too bad but the card is poor.
