FB sedan LHR door top stainless moulding strip

Post by Craig Allardyce »

Hi all,
I'm chasing the stainless steel moulding strip that runs across top of the LHR door just below the window.

I've just realised after all these years that it has a right hand one fitted (rear end of the strip is angled so it matches the corresponding strip that runs across the top of the rear quarter).
I would definitely prefer that it has no dents in the stainless but I can work with any fine scratches that I can polish out.

Thanks.

I am pretty sure I have one. I am not sure if I will get time to go to the shed this weekend, but will try. From memory I have enough trim to do 2 or 3 FBs. It shouldn't be too hard to find either as I have tagged all the bits and pieces. Will let you know when I find it.

Thanks FeeBee.

Yes I'm still interested in the trim. Fbtim in Melbourne thinks he may have one as well!
Thanks for your help on this one.
Craig.

G'day Rusty,
mate I received the moulding trim today....Thanks so much for your generosity with this.
There's been times were I could have walked away from this build and then people like you come along and help out so much with no expectations of anything in return.
Belinda and I cant thank you enough. Your type is what's good about this forum and the FB/EK scene.

Looking forward to catching up with you at the Nats next year, and its my shout!!!!

Cheers.
