SA rego - chassis number

Post by Shaggy »

Does anyone know what I need to add to my historic rego form where it asks for the chassis number? Currently it has " no recored " but I told the rego dept wont except this.

The number thats stamped into the right hand inner guard near your headlight wiring block

So is that number on the guard suppose to be the same as the one on the identification plate next to where it says body?

no mate, that is just the build number for the body - all you need for rego is the chassis number and the engine number
